La Zenia is a rich and exciting area of the Costa Blanca complete with bars, restaurants and one of the best beaches in the area. With both daytime activites and nightlife aplenty, there is always something to be done at La Zenia.
This blue flag beach is 10-15 minutes bus ride (bus stop outside Aldi at the bottom of the hill) from the apartment and is a peaceful place to spend your days soaking up the sun. There are also local shops and bars/cafes where you can grab a light lunch during the day or an ice cream to cool off, along with the fresh fruit served along the beach throughout the day.
The highlight of La Zenia is the now infamous shopping centre. Newly built in 2013, Zenia Boulevard is the biggest shopping centre on the Costa Blanca. Full with local, international & designer favourites, as well as a huge terrace with bars and restaurants. Click here to visit the official site
MUST TRY: One of the best restaurants in the area is the Japanese Run Tao. Serving a selection of traditional dishes and tasting platters for beginners, the reasonably priced restaurant offers fantastic food at reasonable prices.
